The Lake Washington School District Support Services team, along with members of the construction project team, met with families and community members from the Rockwell Elementary School community on the evening of February 27. The goal of the event was to show the community the construction plans for the rebuild and enlarge project at Rockwell Elementary that will kick off this summer.

The Norman Rockwell Elementary School rebuild and enlarge project is a significant undertaking that will benefit the community by creating permanent space for 252 additional students while also addressing an aging facility.
The project to rebuild and enlarge Rockwell Elementary School was approved by the school board in April.

National PTA has recognized both Peter Kirk and Norman Rockwell Elementary schools as 2021-2023 Schools of Excellence.
