Read Across America week starts

March 11th, 2024

 

Well Beagles, it is that time of year again and we are super excited to host our very first Read Across America Classroom Reading Challenge! 


Here's how it works: We wanted to actually "read" across America. So we are challenging students to read every day in class. Classrooms are tracking their reading minutes.
Each minute = miles traveled.

Follow along as we travel from Redmond, WA to Miami, FL this week. Each class should read 35 minutes a day to help reach our goal of ~3,325 miles on our journey!

 

Monday= 804 Miles!

 

Our awesome week of reading will be celebrated with an all-school popcorn party at the end of the week!
