Washington Children's Choice Picture Book Award Nominees

The Washington Children's Choice Award is selected annually by Washington State's K-3 students, who may vote for this award through their local teacher-librarian. This award is given through the Washington Library Association's School Library Division!

Here at Rockwell, we purchase these award nominated books (new list every year!) and read them to our students in the primary grades. These books are nominated for their excellent writing and illustrations. In the Spring, all students who have listened to these amazing books, get the opportunity to vote for their favorite!

Here we will showcase the new nominees, as well as the previous years winners. Stay tuned for updates as they become available! We also like to highlight these amazing books at our fall Scholastic Book Fair so look for those there and enjoy them at home!
